The US city with more museums than any other is now showcasing the world of ice cream until 29 May 2017, at the unique pop-up Museum of Ice Cream in LA’s Arts District.
The museum originally debuted last year in New York City, selling out in five days and attracting a waitlist of 200,000.
Four times larger than its NYC counterpart, and with re-imagined installations, LA’s Museum of Ice Cream includes such interactive highlights as a banana split comprised of ten thousand ‘bananas’, a mint ‘grow house’, a room dedicated to California, a melted popsicle jungle, and a swimmable sprinkle pool filled with one hundred million sprinkles that were custom designed and produced by the museum.
The pop-up is open from 11am–10pm, Wednesday–Monday, until 29 May 2017. Tickets include two curated ice cream tastings and surprise edible treats.
