16 DEC: Air France-KLM yesterday denied a media report that said it will cut 2000 jobs next year as part of a plan to save about $1 billion over three years.
The report, published in French daily La Tribune and citing several sources, said the cuts will be in addition to 4000 positions that have not been renewed over the last 15 months.
But a spokesman for the airline told Reuters news agency: "Air France categorically denies this report."
