Americans rate Air NZ top long-haul leisure airline

3 SEP: Air NZ has scored another victory in what is proving to be an award-winning year.

It has been named favourite long-haul leisure airline in the America’s 2010 Conde Nast Readers Travel Awards - ahead of Virgin Atlantic and Cathay Pacific.

The NZ carrier was cited for its "excellent food" and "child-friendliness".

In the same awards, NZ was voted 5th most popular holiday destination after Turkey, Egypt, Australia and Italy.
