13 DEC: Cathay Pacific has issued details of a new premium economy class product it plans to introduce progressively on long-haul routes from March.
It’s also going to introduce a new-design seat in economy class from the same date.
The airline says the new premium cabin will have "lots of extras", including touch-screen personal TVs and mobile device connectivity.
Seat pitch will be 38 inches - six more than in economy.
The new economy class seat will feature a cradle mechanism which the airline says will improve the level of comfort in the recline position.
It will have new touch-screen TVs, a USB outlet and an iPod/iPhone outlet for mobile devices.
