13 DEC: Two Jetstar pilots are to undergo "remedial" training after an incident at Melbourne airport in July, the Herald Sun newspaper reports today.
A misunderstanding during a landing led to an A320 descending to within 75m of the ground while it was still well short of the runway, the paper reports.
Two warning signals were issued before the captain realised the plane was too low and aborted the landing.
The report carries no comment from Jetstar nor aviation safety authorities.
