14 OCT: A recording of final cockpit conversation between pilots of a doomed Air France plane has been released in Paris.
The Cockpit Voice Recorder material appears to indicate panic and ignorance of what was happening as the Airbus A330 plunged into the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Brazil during a flight from Rio de Janeiro to Paris in June 2009.
"Damn it. We’re going to crash. It can’t be true", one pilot is heard to say.
"But, what’s happening?" another replies, seconds before the jet hits the water, killing all 228 people aboard.
