Playboy ‘playmate’ woman arrested carrying loaded gun on to plane

11 AUG: A woman who has posed for US magazine ‘Playboy’ was exposed again at Orlando airport in Florida on Monday.

Shanna McLaughlin was found to be carrying a loaded handgun in a bag as she tried to board a flight to Los Angeles.

The 26-year-old, who featured in the mag as ‘Miss July 2010’, told police that she owned the bag, but did not know that her boyfriend had place his loaded .45 calibre Colt revolver in it.

She was charged with carrying a firearm in a place prohibited by law and released.

McLaughlin was in the news last month when she publicly lent her support to ‘Playboy’ founder Hugh Hefner, who had been criticised by his former fiance over his sexual prowess.
