27 OCT: Qantas announced late yesterday that it has taken another Boeing 767 out of service because of industrial action by its engineers.
But a Boeing 737 has been returned to the fleet.
The number of grounded aircraft remains at seven - four 767s and three 737s.
The airline says is still cancelling about 500 flights over a four-week period.
It says that since August, members of the Australian Licenced Aircraft Engineers Association have staged more than 40 strikes at heavy maintenance bases around Australia, as well as applying overtime bans and strict work-to-rule practices.
