19 AUG: A bus strike in Bermuda is causing disruption for cruise ship passengers this week.
Bus drivers walked out over the dismissal of a female driver who refused to undergo a mandatory drug and alcohol test after being involved in an accident.
Half a dozen ships are due to call at Bermuda in coming days.
The government has ordered the drivers back to work, but so far there’s been no response.
Meantime, a Facebook campaign aimed at encouraging private motorists to pick up stranded locals is gathering pace.
