What's Selling

Last cabins are selling on two Dalmatian coast cruises this month and in October aboard the CroisiEurope vessel La Belle De L’Adriatique.

Accommodating only 200 passengers, the vessel is small enough to cruise close to coastlines and moor in small harbours inaccessible to larger ships.

The sailings are selling from $1935 a person twin share, $3003 single, including all meals and French wine and beer with lunch and dinner.

Female passenger and Carnival Australia settle lawsuit

29 NOV: Carnival Australia and a female passenger from Albury NSW have reached a settlement over injuries the woman claims to have suffered during a Sun Princess cruise in 2008.

Norma Forbes, 72, sued Carnival Australia after a fall on the liner.

She claimed to have caught her shoe on duct tape holding down frayed carpet.

She said she subsequently suffered shocking headaches and other pain, has been unable to perform simple housework and can no longer engage in dancing, an activity she enjoyed.

The terms of the settlement, which came during a hearing in Wagga Wagga District Court, have not been disclosed, the Daily Advertiser newspaper reports.
