P&O gets nearly 200 more ‘captains’

30 AUG: P&O reports a strong travel agency take-up for its latest P&O Academy training modules.

More than 1800 agents have signed up for the program since its December launch, with some 400 already gaining the rank of Staff Captain and nearly 200 becoming Captain.

The Academy aims to help agents build knowledge of P&O so that they’re better able to match clients with the cruises best-suited for them.

New modules include in-depth information on popular ports in Asia, NZ and the South Pacific, onboard youth programs, online resources and the company’s 75-year history.
