2 SEP: Upmarket boutique UK cruise operator Hebridean Island Cruises is moving into the Europe river cruise market.
The company announced in London yesterday that it is chartering a 79-passenger Dutch-owned vessel Royal Crown to run four sailings on the Rhine and Danube next year.
Hebridean says prices, starting at £2995 (about $4000) for one week, will include an open bar, quality wines, gourmet food, excursions, tips and taxes.
The 42 crew members will be brought from the smaller vessel Hebridean Princess, which the company operates in Scotland.
