Last cabins are selling on two Dalmatian coast cruises this month and in October aboard the CroisiEurope vessel La Belle De L’Adriatique.

Accommodating only 200 passengers, the vessel is small enough to cruise close to coastlines and moor in small harbours inaccessible to larger ships.

The sailings are selling from $1935 a person twin share, $3003 single, including all meals and French wine and beer with lunch and dinner.

Vampire theme for Alaska cruise

30 AUG: Holland America liner Zuiderdam will host a vampire-themed cruise in Alaska next June, the Associated Press news agency reports.

The sailing will include a vampire ball, costume contest, trivia contest and vampire movie festival.

There will also be a "Vamps Got Talent" contest for passengers.

Dacre Stoker, a great-grandnephew of Dracula author Bram Stoker, is scheduled to be among the passengers, the report says.

The week-long sailing will leave Vancouver on 23 June and include stops in Juneau, Glacier Bay, Skagway and Ketchikan.
