12 MAY: A British Airways pilot has appeared in court charged with battering his wife to death because he felt "stitched up" over a pre-nuptial agreement.
Robert Brown, 47, allegedly killed his wife Joanna, 46 in her home last October and buried her in a secluded woodland grave.
A court in Reading, 60km west of London, was told that the killing came a week before the two were due to face each other in a bitter High Court divorce battle.
Mrs Brown had inherited personal wealth and also ran an award-winning B&B from here home.
Robert Brown has denied murdering her.
The case is continuing.
