Be a pilot for $250 an hour

A Brisbane company is giving the general public access to a flight training simulator at a cost of $250 an hour.

The company, Flight Simulator 737, is based at Archerfield Airport, and the simulator is the same as those used to train airline pilots.

Its technology can create not only a range of flight experiences and conditions, but also realistic take-offs and landings at more than 90,000 airports.

"We offer an experience like no other", says Flight Simulator 737’s Ross Farquharson, noting that several people can share one-hour sessions.
