9 SEP: Virgin Blue issued a brief statement to the Stock Exchange this morning on the US Department of Transportation (DOT) finding against its plans for a trans-Pacific alliance with Delta (see separate story)
Virgin Blue said the two carriers will be working with the DOT over the next 14 days to respond to the concerns raised.
"Virgin Blue strongly believes the proposed alliance will be good for consjumers", it said.
