29 JULY: Singapore has posted another big monthly visitor increase.
It recorded 950,000 arrivals last month - a June record and a 26.7% increase on the same month last year.
The influx pushed the average hotel occupancy rate to 88% - up 12.3% on June last year.
Average room rates soared, too, rising 22.7% to an average $S219 a night.
