1 JUN: A second state in the US is seeing moves to outlaw invasive body searches by airport security staff.
A member of the Utah legislature is drafting a bill which will ban so-called pat-downs, saying that there is no evidence to date which shows that the current controversial searches are improving aviation safety.
Legislation making it illegal for airport security agents to "touch the anus, sexual organ, buttocks or breast of another person, including through the clothing" has been unanimously passed by the lower hour of the Texas legislature, but has yet to win senate approval.
