29 JULY: Enterprise Rent A Car will begin adding electric vehicles to its fleets across America in January, starting with 500 Nissans.
The company says the roll-out is being staggered so that staff at various locations can be trained to show customers how to use and re-charge the cars.
It says electric vehicles from other manufacturers will be added as they become available.
