London airport giving holidaymakers a free fake tan

27 JULY: London’s Gatwick airport is offering to give pasty Britons a healthier look before they head off on their overseas holidays this summer.

The airport has teamed up with tanning firm St Tropez to provide a free fake tan before take-off.

The ‘Gatwick Glow’ promotion has seen special tanning booths set up in both terminals.

Airport marketing manager Kim Francis told media: "It’s designed to give our passengers a boost.

"Hopefully it will send them off on their holidays feeling great about themselves".

But tans are available only from tomorrow till 1 August.
