Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews announced the restrictions for workplaces under the new Stage 4 lockdown yesterday, including $5,000 grants for eligible businesses affected by the new restrictions.
All businesses and services will have until midnight Friday to enact a mandatory COVIDSafe plan.
The business support plan in Victoria has been expanded, with eligible businesses able to access a further $5000 in grants for the Stage 4 lockdown. CLICK HERE for more information.
Businesses have been separated into three categories for the 6-week Stage 4 restrictions:

Category 1
The businesses that can remain open are: supermarkets and grocery stores; bottle shops; convenience stores and newsagents; petrol stations; pharmacies; post offices; motor vehicle parts for emergency repairs; agricultural retailers (drive through only); hardware; building and garden suppliers retailing for trade only (collect only for customers); specialist stationery suppliers for business use; disability, health, mobility device and equipment retailers; maternity supply retailers.
Category 2
Onsite operations will cease for most retail, some manufacturing and some administration. These businesses will be required to shut from midnight on Wednesday 5 August 2020, unless exempt.
Retail stores can offer click and collect and delivery with strict safety protocols in place.
Category 3
Industries permitted to operate under significantly different conditions include food production, waste collection or supply chain logistics.
