AAT Kings has launched a new series of small group tours, offering a more personalised and immersive experience for up to 24 guests per departure.
Designed to enhance access to remote destinations while maintaining the premium quality AAT Kings is known for, these tours will begin rolling out in South Australia from September 2025, with further departures across Tasmania and New Zealand.
Intimate travel with added value
The new small group program features tailored itineraries such as South Australia Outback Adventure, Remarkable Adelaide to Kangaroo Island, and the South Australian Eyre Peninsula Escape. Select departures on existing favourites like Perfect Tasmania and New Zealand’s Southern Spirit will also be available in small group format for the 2025/2026 season.
Each tour includes handpicked accommodation—such as Wilpena Pound Resort in the Flinders Ranges—and optional add-ons like a scenic charter flight over Tasmania’s South West Wilderness or a craft distilling tour in Dunedin. AAT Kings will expand the range in the 2026/2027 season to include destinations in the Northern Territory and Western Australia, with bookings available from July 2025.
Responsible travel through ‘Make Travel Matter’
Each itinerary integrates AAT Kings’ ‘Make Travel Matter’ sustainability ethos, aiming to leave a positive impact on communities and environments visited. For example, guests travelling on the Ridgetop Track in Arkaroola, South Australia, will support local conservation efforts, with $10 donated per guest to the area’s science and education foundation.

To mark the launch, AAT Kings is offering savings of up to $2,000 per couple on select Small Group tours booked by 8 July 2025.
