The demand for active holidays across Europe is booming in 2025, as more travellers opt for hiking, biking, and boating experiences over traditional sightseeing. A Booking.com survey of over 27,700 travellers across 33 countries found that 67 percent of adults are prioritising less crowded destinations and more adventurous travel.
Specialising in self-guided and small group active travel through Europe’s hidden gems since 2007, UTracks is at the forefront of this trend.
“Travellers are seeking active and authentic experiences now more than ever,” says Kate Baker, general manager of UTracks. “We’ve recently expanded our active Europe experiences in regions including the Pyrenees, Dolomites, and the Balkans to meet this desire for personalised exploration.”
