Marking its 10th birthday last Friday, Adina-Vibe Darwin hosted a shindig for loyal supporters, guests and clients, noting the positive changes a decade has brought to the city and its skyline.
In the hotel itself, hardworking housekeepers have changed more than 753,190 sheets and 970,280 pillow cases and the reception team has checked in over 800,000 guests. Brekkie Chef, Gina Ragasa has been with the hotel since opening and estimates she and the kitchen team have cracked and cooked around 358,200 eggs, fried more than 22 tonnes of bacon and grilled six tonnes of snags.
TFE Hotels’ Chief Operating Officer, Chris Sedgwick, said the best companies were made up of the best people and he was incredibly proud to celebrate the birthday milestone with his team.
“Birthdays are a time for celebrations,” Mr Sedgwick said. “But it is also the perfect time to acknowledge the incredible effort our behind-the-scenes and front-of-house teams have put into ensuring our guests feel like they have had a home-away-from-home with us over the past ten years.”
