Adventure World has released 2028 departures of its Cloud Wolves of the Kaska Coast expedition in Canada, as strong forward bookings point to continued demand for small-group wildlife experiences.
The announcement coincides with International Wolf Day on 13 August and follows more than 65% of available places for the operator’s 2027 departures already being sold. Limited to 16 guests per trip, the 10-day itinerary is priced from $30,699 per person twin share for Australian travellers.
Tracking wild wolves in Manitoba

Cloud Wolves of the Kaska Coast takes guests into a remote area of Manitoba where boreal forest meets the shores of Hudson Bay.
Travellers stay at the fly-in Nanuk Polar Bear Lodge and join guides, trackers and researchers to search for wild grey wolves in their natural habitat. Beyond wildlife observation, the program includes learning to identify tracks and interpret wolf behaviour, with opportunities to contribute to wildlife monitoring through citizen science.
Adventure World North America Product Manager Kristy Prince said the experience responds to growing interest in immersive wildlife travel.
“Guests don’t simply observe wildlife, they learn to read tracks, interpret behaviours and even contribute to citizen science through wildlife monitoring,” Prince said.
March and July departures offer different experiences

The expedition operates in March and July, providing distinctly different seasonal experiences.
March departures coincide with the wolves’ breeding season and place travellers among snow-covered forests, with the possibility of seeing the northern lights.
July transforms the region into a flowering tundra landscape. Guests on the July departure can also travel with National Geographic photographer, writer and storyteller Jad Davenport, whose work has appeared in publications including National Geographic, LIFE, Outside and Audubon.
Davenport will share insights into wildlife photography and visual storytelling, adding a specialist photography component to the expedition.
Limited capacity drives early bookings
The package includes return flights from Winnipeg to Nanuk Polar Bear Lodge, accommodation, meals and beverages, daily guided wildlife excursions and presentations from expert guides.
With each departure capped at 16 travellers and the majority of 2027 capacity already booked, the release of 2028 dates gives advisors an earlier opportunity to secure space for clients seeking specialist Canadian wildlife experiences.
The expedition is priced from $30,699 per person twin share in Australia, or NZ$37,585 per person twin share in New Zealand.
