Adventure World takes agents to India

Adventure World recently hosted a group of travel advisors on an enchanting tour through Rajasthan, India.

Designed to highlight the region’s rich cultural and historical treasures, the journey provided advisors with an array of immersive experiences that they can now share with their clients to inspire future travels.

Immersed in culture and community

Beyond Rajasthan’s stunning UNESCO World Heritage listed forts and palaces, the advisors were captivated by the cultural connections embedded in Adventure World’s meticulously crafted itinerary. Central to this were the Make Travel Matter (MTM) experiences, designed to foster authentic engagement with local communities and preserve cultural heritage.

One standout experience was a visit to a local textile cooperative run by women artisans. Here, the advisors observed traditional weaving techniques and engaged with the skilled women who produce exquisite textiles. Adding to the cultural immersion, the group enjoyed a home-cooked meal with a local family, offering a heartwarming glimpse into Indian hospitality.

Another MTM highlight was an eco-friendly tour of Jaipur aboard pink e-rickshaws driven by the women of the Pink City Rickshaw Company, a not-for-profit organisation empowering women from low-income households. These vibrant women have mastered the art of rickshaw driving and have become equity holders and managers of their fleet of specially designed rickshaws.

What the travel advisors said

“My trip with Adventure World in Rajasthan was a bucket list dream come true, especially the visits to small villages like Chanoud and the interactions with the local people,” said Katherine Madill from The Private Travel Company.

“Adventure World’s expert land operator transformed my perception of India, providing a seamless and unforgettable experience. Staying at Rawla Narlai, the former Royal Hunting Lodge, and leopard spotting are two standout moments for me,” shared Rosanne Marsden from Travel Managers.

Responsible travel with Adventure World

The tour provided a well-rounded perspective of Rajasthan’s diverse offerings, from the bustling bazaars of Jodhpur to the serene beauty of Lake Pichola during a sunset boat cruise. Iconic destinations like Jaipur, Udaipur, and Agra were seamlessly integrated into the itinerary, offering a blend of historical grandeur and local flavour.

Adventure World’s Make Travel Matter program ensures that these unforgettable experiences are tied to responsible travel practices, allowing advisors to witness firsthand how travel can support local communities and cultural preservation.
