Adventure World has named Sharon Puckeridge of St George Travel in Sydney the winner of its Raise, Sell & Win incentive campaign, in partnership with Travellers Choice. The reward: a 13-day Authentic Vietnam journey for two, including a special visit to the Animals Asia Bear Sanctuary in Tam Dao.
Purpose meets performance in industry-first incentive
Running from November 2024 to March 2025, the incentive encouraged Travellers Choice advisors to not only sell Adventure World travel product but to also raise awareness and support for Animals Asia—a charity dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating bears from the bear bile industry. The top-performing advisor who met both criteria would be awarded the unique travel prize.
“The Adventure World incentive resonated deeply with me,” said Puckeridge.
“I was so inspired by Animals Asia’s Dr Jill Robinson at last year’s Travellers Choice conference. I’m particularly excited to become a bear guardian, meet Bong Bong—Travellers Choice’s sponsored bear—and experience Vietnam through Adventure World’s incredible itinerary.”
Supporting sustainable tourism and animal welfare
The prize trip includes cultural and natural highlights such as Hanoi, Halong Bay, Hue, Hoi An, and Ho Chi Minh City, with a dedicated visit to the Tam Dao sanctuary. The itinerary was designed to highlight Vietnam’s rich history while promoting responsible and meaningful travel.
