While Australians cannot yet travel internationally, the Maldives has recently reopened its borders and agents are invited to join an ‘enlightening webinar’ to be presented via Zoom by Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC/Visit Maldives) on 10September 2020 from 4pm – 5pm AEST.
As part of its ‘Rediscover Maldives’ series, the webinar will introduce attendees to the ‘new normal’ when it comes to travelling to the island nation, and re-establish the destination’s reputation as being a ‘safe haven’ for tourists.
Hosted by MMPRC’s Managing Director, Thoyyib Mohamed, the webinar will provide insights and updates on the strict health and safety policies implemented to ensure the wellbeing of tourists during this time. It will also feature a range of local, well-known operators, who will provide insider tips on the unique offering available in the Maldives – such as the naturally socially distanced ‘one-island one-resort’ concept.
