Following a record-breaking start to the 2025/2026 ski season, Club Med hosted 14 Australian travel agents on an exclusive famil to experience its premium all-inclusive ski resorts in Japan.
With sales for its ski resorts soaring by 107 per cent for the upcoming season, Club Med welcomed the group to Club Med Tomamu and Club Med Sahoro for a seven-night famil, offering firsthand insight into the brand’s renowned ski experience.
The trip kicked off with an in-depth business session led by Club Med’s business development managers Adam Ferraro and Stephanie Ireland, covering:
- Club Med’s global ski portfolio
- Key product updates for its resorts in Phuket and Bintan
- European travel trends
- The final release of Club Med’s Early Bird Sale 2026
Agents also took part in a hands-on workshop on the Club Med for Travel Agents Portal, gaining practical knowledge on exclusive tools and benefits through the Club Med Advantage Program. They were also introduced to the newly launched Club Med Academy, the first e-learning tool of its kind in the Pacific.

Strong demand for Japan ski holidays
Michelle Davies, general manager for Club Med Pacific, highlighted the surging demand for ski getaways.
“We were thrilled to host 14 of our valued travel agents from across Australia at Club Med Sahoro and Tomamu, offering them an exclusive, firsthand look at what makes Club Med a leader in ski holidays worldwide,” Davies said.
“With a remarkable 107 per cent year-on-year sales increase and a 133 per cent surge in new customers during the spring ski season, our Early Bird Sale 2026 results clearly show that Australians are more eager than ever for a ski escape. This growing demand is likely driven by the ease of our all-inclusive offering and the added benefits of skiing during the shoulder season.”
The perfect ski getaway
Agents had the chance to experience Club Med’s all-inclusive ski offering, which takes the stress out of planning with lift passes, group ski and snowboard lessons, ski-in, ski-out access, and on-site pro shops all included.
“Spring skiing offers more time on the slopes thanks to longer days, milder temperatures for après-ski activities, shorter lift lines, and quieter slopes—making it the perfect choice for a family getaway during the Easter school holidays,” Davies said.
Beyond the slopes, agents explored the resorts’ après-ski activities, from unwinding in traditional Japanese onsens and the Mina Mina Wave Pool to snow trekking and gourmet dining.
