The Kyushu Tourism Promotion Organisation is showcasing Japan’s southernmost major island, affectionately known as Onsen Island, to Australian and New Zealand agents ahead of the resumption of international travel from Australia.
Kyushu is home to 7 prefectures, known for their exhilarating outdoor adventures, timeless culture and traditions, fresh and tasty cuisine, and dynamic cities. The new “Introduction to Kyushu” webinar, gives agents the chance to familiarise themselves with some of the key destinations across the region – from the volcanic peaks of Mt. Aso and Sakurajima to the seven bubbling hot spring “hells” of Beppu. The webinar also provides key information on how best to access Kyushu from gateway cities of Osaka and Tokyo, and even outlines some recommend itineraries to help make selling the destination as easy as pie (or Japanese cheesecake).
Visit the new Kyushu Tourism Promotion Organisation Australian and New Zealand website and watch the webinar and finish a short questionnaire before 13 December 2021 and you could win a gift card (sent out to the lucky winners by 16 December!)
Explore the website and discover assets including image galleries, pre-packaged social media content, recommended itineraries and more to help agents upskill and promote Kyushu. So agents are encouraged to bookmark the site, which will be updated regularly moving forward.
