Aircalin has launched its Unwind in New Caledonia Sale, offering return fares from Sydney and Brisbane to Noumea from $589, including taxes, as the carrier looks to encourage Australian travellers to book a short-haul Pacific escape.
The sale runs from 7 August to 21 August 2026, with selected travel available through to June 2027.
Sydney and Brisbane fares from $589 return
Aircalin is offering Sydney–Noumea return fares from $589 for selected travel dates, with additional fares from $599 return across periods between 22 August 2026 and 30 June 2027.
Brisbane travellers can also access return fares from $589, while $599 fares are available across selected dates between August 2026 and June 2027. All fares are subject to availability, with surcharge dates potentially applying.
New Caledonia within three hours of Australia
The sale provides another selling opportunity for agents targeting Australians seeking a nearby international island holiday. Aircalin’s direct flights put Noumea just over two hours from Brisbane and under three hours from Sydney.
The advertised fares include one piece of checked luggage up to 23 kilograms, a meal and beverage service and inflight entertainment, giving agents a bundled fare option for clients considering New Caledonia.
With turquoise waters, dining and nature-based experiences among New Caledonia’s key drawcards, the campaign positions the destination as an accessible Pacific option for Australian travellers.
