Abercrombie & Kent is offering intrepid travellers the rare opportunity to transit the fabled Northwest Passage next year alongside the company’s founder Geoffrey Kent on the 24-day The Northwest Passage: From Greenland to the Bering Sea.
The journey commences in Montreal in August 2022 and travels aboard the exclusively chartered luxury expedition vessel l’Austral from Greenland through Canada’s Arctic Archipelago to Nome, Alaska following the legendary sea route between the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. Over 24 epic days, travellers will follow in the footsteps of legendary polar explorers to iceberg-laden shores and majestic fjords, remote Inuit villages, soak up history in remote trading posts and seek out rare wildlife, all the while marvelling at spectacular geological wonders found only in the far north.
Each one of the award-winning A&K Expedition Team is expert in their field, ranging from scientists to Polar Medal winners to native Inuit and Canadian Arctic lecturers, naturalists, historians and more, plus a dedicated onboard photo coach conducts workshops and lectures to help capture that perfect shot.
