Astrid Gruchmann-Licht, director of the Austrian National Tourist Office (ANTO) in Australia, was recently presented with a Decoration of Honour in Silver for Services to the Republic of Austria.
The Order of Merit, bestowed upon by the President of Austria, was awarded to Gruchmann-Licht for creating cultural collaborations between Austria and Australia – in total 24 projects over the last 30 years – for the benefit of Austria, and its promotion as a world-leading cultural destination to Australian travellers.
