APT has unveiled its most expansive Australian collection yet for 2026, featuring five brand-new itineraries that combine immersive land adventures with luxury rail and river cruising. From Western Australia’s sun-drenched coastline to outback Queensland and the lush landscapes of Tasmania, the new program brings together Australia’s most iconic experiences in unforgettable style.
Western Australia in full colour
Two new adventures invite travellers to uncover the wild beauty of Western Australia. The 13-day Coral Coast Adventure cruise explores Ningaloo Reef, Shark Bay and the Muiron Islands, a snorkeller’s dream, priced from $11,595 per person twin share.
Meanwhile, the 11-day South Western Discovery follows a 4WD route through Esperance, Albany and Margaret River, blending beach walks with vineyard tastings, from $7,695 per person.
Luxury rail meets regional indulgence
For those who love the romance of rail, APT has introduced the 10-day Margaret River & Karri Valley Explorer paired with the iconic Indian Pacific. This journey blends forest walks, fine wine and a cross-country rail escape, priced from $11,295 per person.
Queensland’s newest addition is the eight-day Spirit of Outback Queensland tour. Guests travel by rail and 4WD, with highlights including a breakfast cruise on the Thompson River and a five-course dinner at the Eromanga Natural History Museum, starting at $6,595 per person.
Return of the river cruise
Set to launch in late 2025, the five-star PS Australian Star brings luxury back to the Murray River. The new eight-day Retreat to the Murray cruise explores heritage towns and cellar doors, with prices from $7,995 per person twin share.
Iconic Kimberley and cool-climate Tasmania
The Kimberley remains a showstopper in APT’s offering, with the 15-day Kimberley Complete overland journey from $12,295 per person, and the 10-day Kimberley Coastal Expedition aboard Seabourn Pursuit from $16,895 per person. These trips can also be combined for a comprehensive outback and coastal experience.
Further south, Tasmania takes the spotlight with two new journeys. The 12-day Tasmania Winter Wonders coach tour is a seasonal escape featuring truffle hunting and stargazing, from $7,395 per person. For a longer blend of land and sea, the 19-day Tasmania Highlights with Coastal Discovery is priced from $17,195 per person.
