The APT Travel Group (ATG) has now confirmed it is suspending all international and domestic touring and cruising, up to, and including, 31 May 2020.
The Group acknowledges the challenging times, and offers the following flexibility for guests across APT, Travelmarvel, Botanica and TravelGlo brands. The Group is offering a Future Holiday Credit, equal to the full value of the booking, and they are absorbing any applicable third party fees (some airline fees may apply), valid for travel up until the end of 2021.
The APT Travel Group is offering this additional benefit over and above its usual terms and conditions.
“As a business, the APT Travel Group is doing all we can to accommodate, assist and assure our valued guests and travel partners directly impacted by the current situation and the unprecedented circumstances it has brought about.” said Chris Hall, managing director.
“The funds paid to us, either by clients directly or from travel agents, are secure in a separate bank account that ensures our supplier payments are paid directly from that account. That means that all funds are safe and used only for payments related to the holiday.
“As always our highest priority continues to be the safety, security and wellbeing of our guests, partners and staff. We have a 90 year history and a strong group of brands in the travel and tourism industry so the business has seen its fair share of challenging times. At this stage I think the industry would recognise that we are in completely uncharted territory. However with a huge amount of experience and capability across the business we are in the best position to deal with the current situation.”
