Hosted at the boutique House of Northern Senses in Ruka, the retreat offers daily yoga and mindfulness sessions led by Norwegian instructor and author Hege Norman-Stormbringer.
Participants will engage in unique activities such as reindeer yoga in snowy forests and sauna yoga sessions. Additional experiences include ice floating, snowshoeing in Oulanka National Park, husky safaris, and opportunities to witness the Northern Lights.
Designed for connection and rejuvenation

Satu Vänskä-Westgarth, Director of Product at 50 Degrees North, describes the retreat as ideal for women travelling solo or with companions.
“It’s an honour to invite others to experience the magic of our wilderness, from reindeer yoga to the restorative warmth of sauna yoga,” she says. Solo travellers can opt to share accommodations with like-minded guests, fostering a sense of community throughout the journey.
All-inclusive Arctic immersion
The retreat package includes six nights at the House of Northern Senses, all meals (highlighted by a Lappish Wild Food dinner), daily sauna and yoga sessions, and all necessary winter gear. Priced from AUD 9,905 per person (twin share), the experience is limited to a group size of 6–12 participants.
