Auckland gears up to host NZ’s biggest business events showcase

New Zealand’s premier business events tradeshow, MEETINGS 2025, is set to return to Auckland for the first time in four years, bringing together more than 550 buyers and 253 exhibitors representing 18 regions from across the country.

The two-day exhibition, taking place at Auckland Showgrounds on 11 and 12 June, will kick off with a welcome function at Eden Park on Tuesday 10 June, attended by Minister of Tourism and Hospitality, Hon Louise Upston, and Auckland Mayor, Wayne Brown.

Record attendance and fresh exhibitors

Organised by Business Events Industry Aotearoa (BEIA), MEETINGS 2025 features 35 new exhibitors spanning venues, hotels, audio-visual companies, regional bureaux, attractions and team-building providers.

This year also marks a record attendance from Australia, with 126 business event organisers travelling to Auckland, alongside a strong contingent of domestic planners and international buyers. Supported by regional convention bureaux and Air New Zealand, 64 Australian buyers will explore various destinations around New Zealand before and after the event.

MEETINGS provides a one-stop opportunity for buyers to discover regional highlights, plan corporate events, and connect directly with suppliers. In 2024, the event generated over $110 million in business bookings.

Day Buyer registrations remain open, and the exhibition will be accessible to a wider audience during Industry Hours from 14:30 to 16:00 on both event days.
