Aussie couple celebrates 2,335 days at sea on record-breaking world cruise

Jessica and Marty Ansen have cemented their status as Australian cruising royalty, recently embarking on the longest world cruise ever to depart from Sydney. The pair have now spent 2,335 days at sea across 111 Princess Cruises voyages, with a further 33 booked through to 2026.

Sailing aboard Crown Princess, they’ve joined more than 3,000 fellow Australians on a 113-day journey visiting 42 destinations in 22 countries across five continents. For the Ansens, cruising isn’t just a holiday – it’s a way of life.

Redefining retirement, one cruise at a time

The couple believes life at sea offers the ultimate in comfort and convenience. With daily housekeeping, gourmet meals, and onboard entertainment, cruising has become their preferred way to travel – even more affordable and fulfilling than traditional retirement options.

They are part of a growing wave of Australians choosing cruising for its value, community, and stress-free lifestyle. With record demand and dozens of new ships on the horizon, cruising continues to gain momentum as a top choice for retirees and first-time travellers alike.
