AVIAREPS has appointed aviation executive Lindsay White as General Manager for Australia and New Zealand, succeeding Emilie Groleau, who has been promoted to Vice President APAC for the AVIAREPS Group.
White joins the global tourism and aviation representation company with more than 30 years’ experience in the airline industry, where he has held senior commercial and leadership roles across multiple international markets.
Veteran aviation executive takes the helm
Before joining AVIAREPS, White held senior international sales and leadership positions with British Airways across the United Kingdom, Eastern Europe, Asia Pacific and South America before moving to Etihad Airways. During his time with Etihad, he served in several senior management roles, finishing as Vice President for the Eastern Hemisphere, overseeing markets including the Indian subcontinent, Asia Pacific, China, Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand.
Following the pandemic, White spent five years in aviation and travel recruitment, developing a broad client portfolio and working with organisations across the aviation and travel sectors.
Leadership transition supports regional growth
In his new role, White will lead AVIAREPS’ operations across Australia and New Zealand, bringing his industry knowledge, leadership experience and established trade relationships to support the company’s airline and tourism partners.
His appointment follows the promotion of Emilie Groleau to Vice President APAC, where she will oversee AVIAREPS’ operations and continued expansion across the Asia-Pacific region.
The leadership changes reinforce AVIAREPS’ focus on strengthening its presence across the region while continuing to support its portfolio of airline and destination clients.
