BIG4 Ballarat Goldfields Holiday Park in regional Victoria has this week joined the NRMA Parks and Resorts portfolio of 36 properties across Australia.
The newest park member, the 11th in Victoria, will be renamed BIG4 NRMA Ballarat Holiday Park.
“After a tough time for the tourism industry we’re keen to increase NRMA’s presence in the state of Victoria and – with this latest acquisition – to galvanise tourism in the Ballarat region by supporting local communities and businesses,” said NRMA Parks and Resorts CEO Paul Davies.

Just 90 minutes’ drive from Melbourne, Big4 NRMA Ballarat Holiday Park is centrally located in the historic city of Ballarat – now also Victoria’s third largest city – and is within easy walking distance of the award-winning Sovereign Hill 1850s gold rush attraction. Ballarat sits on the lands of the First Nations Wadawurrung and Dja Dja Wurrung peoples.
