Bunnik Tours has partnered with LATAM Airlines and Sydney Airport to host an immersive trade event in Adelaide, highlighting South America’s growing appeal and equipping travel advisors with the knowledge to confidently sell the destination.
The event forms part of a broader trade campaign between the three partners, combining destination education with an incentive offering advisors the chance to win a place on Bunnik Tours’ 20-day Peru Explorer tour, including return LATAM international flights.
Bringing South America to life

The evening featured presentations from Bunnik Tours, LATAM Airlines and Sydney Airport, with advisors learning about the continent’s diverse tourism experiences and LATAM’s extensive South American network.
Bunnik Tours also showcased its range of small group itineraries across destinations including Peru, Argentina and Brazil, while a pisco sour demonstration and authentic South American menu from Adelaide’s La Boca Bar and Grill gave attendees a taste of the experiences clients can expect on tour.
Partnership supports growing demand

Bunnik Tours National Sales Manager Zoe Francis said the partnership aims to give advisors the confidence to recommend South America to more Australian travellers.
Sydney Airport General Manager Strategic Aviation Development Shane Hodges said demand for the region continues to grow, with almost 600,000 passengers travelling between Australia and South America over the past 12 months, an increase of 12.8 per cent year-on-year. More than 219,000 Australian residents travelled to South America during the period, highlighting the destination’s growing popularity.
The event concluded with networking, destination quizzes and prize giveaways, including a $500 Visa Gift Card, while reinforcing the partners’ shared commitment to expanding awareness of South America among Australian travellers.
