Canyon Spirit is expanding its 2027 American Southwest program with two new extended stay packages, combining three days of rail travel with additional time in either Moab, Utah, or Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The six-day itineraries also include touring in Arches and Canyonlands national parks, giving travel advisors a longer, packaged option for clients exploring the region.
Two new Canyon Spirit extensions
The new Three-Day Rail Classic Moab Extension with National Parks and Three-Day Rail Classic Glenwood Springs Extension with National Parks each run for six days and five nights.
Both packages include three days aboard Canyon Spirit, with an additional overnight stay designed to give travellers more time to explore either Moab or Glenwood Springs.
Tours of Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park are included as standard in both packages, adding two of Utah’s major natural attractions to the rail itinerary.
More time in the American Southwest
The extensions broaden Canyon Spirit’s rail offering for travellers looking to spend more time on the ground as part of an American Southwest itinerary.
Moab provides a base for exploring Utah’s red-rock landscapes and nearby national parks, while Glenwood Springs gives travellers additional time in Colorado as part of the broader rail journey.
The packages will be available on all Tuesday westbound departures from Denver and Friday eastbound departures from Salt Lake City during the 2027 season.

Trade bookings can be made through the Armstrong Collective Agent Portal. Consumers can book through a travel advisor, directly with Canyon Spirit online or through its reservations team.
