Cathay Pacific’s new safety measures in place from today

As a response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Cathay Pacific has implemented several measures to ensure the health and safety of its passengers and crew, effective today (Friday 15 May 2020).

Until further notice, the airline is introducing the requirement for all travellers and crew members to wear face masks in situations where physical distancing of 2 metres cannot be maintained. These include:

  • During check-in
  • In lounges
  • During boarding
  • In the aircraft cabin
  • During disembarkation
