The Council of Australian Tour Operators (CATO) has been granted access to use the World Travel & Tourism Council’s (WTTC) recently released “Safe Travels Stamp” after its application was approved, based on the implementation by CATO Members of enhanced health and safety measures in line with the WTTC global Safe Travels protocols.
WTTC protocols were developed to optimise sector-wide recovery efforts by rebuilding confidence among travellers and ensuring a coordinated approach of the global travel and tourism public and private sectors.
“CATO Members can use the Safe Travels Stamp in their communications and promotional materials subject to acknowledgment of, and agreement to a set of usage principles,” said CATO managing director, Brett Jardine.
