Celestyal has inked a major three-year partnership with the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority at the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai, reinforcing its commitment to the Arabian Gulf and spotlighting Ras Al Khaimah as a marquee destination for its guests.
The agreement paves the way for exclusive, culturally rich shore excursions in Ras Al Khaimah, tailored specifically for Celestyal’s guests. These immersive experiences will begin in December 2025 as part of the cruise line’s expanded Arabian Gulf season.
Following a successful inaugural season that exceeded booking targets by 35 per cent, Celestyal will return to the region later this year with two ships, including the newly refurbished 1360-guest Celestyal Discovery, which will homeport in Abu Dhabi from 12 December.
Iconic Arabia cruises return
Celestyal Discovery will offer three-, four- and seven-night Iconic Arabia sailings, with weekly calls to Ras Al Khaimah through to 2028. The four-night itinerary includes Doha, Ras Al Khaimah and Khasab in Oman. The seven-night version adds Dubai and Sir Bani Yas Island. Fares start from AUD $1,258* per couple for a four-night cruise and AUD $2,078* per couple for a seven-night sailing, inclusive of meals, soft drinks, Wi-Fi and gratuities.
Strengthening regional partnerships
Celestyal’s Chief Commercial Officer, Lee Haslett, said the partnership highlights the cruise line’s focus on building deep regional ties. “We’re excited to expand our award-winning shore excursion program in collaboration with the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority,” he said.
“Our guests travel with us to connect with destinations on a deeper level, and Ras Al Khaimah offers exactly that.”
Iyad Rasbey, Vice President of Destination Tourism Development at the authority, echoed the sentiment.
“This partnership reflects a shared commitment to creating authentic, immersive journeys. Together, we’ll deliver experiences that elevate Ras Al Khaimah’s profile as a must-visit destination for cruise travellers.”
