Sue Sullivan has resigned as Conventions and Incentives New Zealand (CINZ) Chief Executive, after five years in the role. Sue leaves the association at the end of November 2019 to take up a new position in Canterbury, as Chief Executive of Christchurch and Hanmer Attractions.
CINZ Board Chair, Tony Gardner says Sue has been outstanding in leading CINZ since her appointment in June 2014 and she taken the organisation into a new chapter of member-focused industry leadership.
“Over five successful years, Sue has done a remarkable job leading CINZ from a time of uncertainty to today’s important role in the sector. Her non-stop drive and straight-up leadership have been powerful in creating value for members and the industry,” he says.
“We will miss her, but she is going to an exciting new opportunity in her home region of Canterbury and we wish her all the best,” he says.
The process to find a new Chief Executive has begun. Those interested in applying for the role should contact Sharon Edwards by email: s.edwards@nzconventions.co.nz.
