Club Med has announced the upcoming sales launch of Club Med Beach & Safari, an all-new dual-location resort in South Africa, set to open its doors in July 2026. Sales for the highly anticipated property will officially open on Tuesday 14 October 2025.
The resort marks a number of firsts for Club Med: its debut in South Africa, its first dual-location concept combining coastal luxury and safari adventure, and the introduction of a new Meetings and Events offering tailored for corporate groups and incentives.
A new era for business travel
Situated along the pristine North Coast of KwaZulu-Natal, just 20 minutes from Durban’s King Shaka International Airport, Club Med Beach & Safari is purpose-built to serve the meetings and events market. The resort will feature a state-of-the-art convention centre and meeting spaces for up to 500 delegates, supported by a dedicated catering kitchen.

The resort’s unique dual-location offering allows guests to experience both South Africa’s iconic wildlife and its stunning Indian Ocean coastline. A 45-minute charter flight connects guests to the safari section of the property, where 75 rooms and curated game-viewing experiences await, including sightings of the Big Five.
Back at the beach, guests can enjoy Blue Flag beaches, Club Med’s first-ever surf academy, a waterfront estuary, and a host of all-inclusive activities such as paddleboarding, Padel, archery and cultural immersions.
For a premium experience, the Exclusive Collection Space offers privacy, a concierge service, a dedicated lounge and pool area, and elevated accommodation including a private adult zone with jacuzzi and a family area with connecting rooms.
