Contiki has announced four exciting new trips for 18-35-year-old travellers, exploring some of Asia’s most sought-after destinations: Borneo, the Philippines, China, and India.
These adventures promise unforgettable experiences with a focus on wildlife, culture, and affordability.
Discover Borneo’s wildlife
Contiki’s Borneo Adventure is the brand’s first trip to the Malaysian part of the island. This 9-day journey offers:
- Wildlife encounters with orangutans, pygmy elephants, sun bears, and proboscis monkeys.
- Visits to Bako National Park and Selingan Turtle Island, where travellers can witness turtles nesting.
- A Kinabatangan River cruise for exceptional wildlife viewing.
The trip supports sustainable tourism, contributing to UN Sustainability Goal 15: Life on Land, by visiting sanctuaries that protect endangered species.
New adventures in the Philippines
Due to the success of its Philippines Island Hopping trip launched earlier this year, Contiki has expanded its offerings with a new itinerary in the eastern Philippines. Travellers can now also combine trips for the 22-day Ultimate Philippines Island Hopping experience. Highlights include:
- Dolphin spotting and snorkelling with sardine runs in Cebu.
- Enjoying a traditional 8-course Filipino meal in Bohol.
- Flights and boat transfers included for seamless travel.
Explore China and India with ease
The China Adventure trip returns with a 12-day itinerary for travellers looking for an expertly guided tour. Highlights include:
- Exploring the Great Wall of China and the terracotta warriors in Xi’an.
- Visiting a panda sanctuary and sampling street food with local guides.
For travellers short on time, the Eternal India Express covers India’s highlights in just over a week. Key experiences include:
- Touring the Taj Mahal and Old Delhi’s vibrant streets by tuk-tuk.
- A tiger safari in Ranthambore.
Budget-friendly travel
Contiki has focused on making these trips affordable by lowering base prices and offering flexible payment options. “We’re excited to explore hidden gems like Borneo and give young travellers opportunities to connect with Asia’s incredible biodiversity and culture,” said Adam Armstrong, CEO of Contiki.
