Corporate Traveller has signed on as the official Coaches Partner of the Perth Bears, strengthening its presence in Western Australia as the NRL’s newest club prepares to enter the competition in 2027.
The Flight Centre Travel Group business travel brand will support the club’s coaching program under head coach Mal Meninga, while also joining the Bears in Business corporate network.
Partnership aligns with Perth growth
Corporate Traveller said the partnership reflects its long-standing presence in both Perth and North Sydney, the two cities linked by the Bears’ heritage.
As Coaches Partner, the company will receive branding across the club’s playing kit, HBF Park, broadcast coverage and digital channels.
Corporate Traveller Global Managing Director Tom Walley said the partnership aligned with the company’s focus on supporting growing business communities.
“The Bears are a team writing their own history from game one, and that kind of ambition is exactly what gets us fired up,” Walley said.
Business travel to Perth continues to grow
The announcement comes as Corporate Traveller reports continued growth in business travel to Perth.
According to the company’s latest data, business travel into Perth increased 11.6 per cent year-on-year during the second quarter of 2026.
Construction recorded the strongest growth at 21.5 per cent, while mining, oil and gas travel increased 14.5 per cent, reflecting continued activity across Western Australia’s key industries.
Perth Bears CEO Anthony De Ceglie said the partnership would support the club’s preparations for its inaugural NRL season in 2027.
