The 19th annual Cruise Industry Awards will be held at The Star Sydney this Saturday, 15 February 2020, with a gala dinner and presentation recognising the most innovative and dedicated members of the travel trade from across Australia and New Zealand.
Hosted by Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) Australasia, managing director Joel Katz said the event would honour travel agents at a time when their engagement with the industry was stronger than ever.
“The level of commitment we see among travel agents in Australasia is exceptional and that’s one of the key reasons for our industry’s strength in this region. The CLIA Awards are our way of honouring this dedication and giving thanks for the fantastic support cruise lines receive from their travel agent partners.”
A total of 71 finalists from across Australia and New Zealand will be in the running to win the 18 accolades to be handed out on the night. More than 560 submissions have been considered, making this year the most highly contested CLIA Awards ever held.
